We've been attempted burgled whilst away. Our brand spanking new crappy patio doors in the kitchen have been broken open. Something must have disturbed the would-be intruder, cos they didn't actually enter. So, first thing upon our return yesterday, we had to call the police, who came around to take a statement and give us some leaflets for burglary victims. Today, the fingerprint scientific type police people came out. Rob, our builder, also came over, to measure up for some new patio doors. It'll be some 2 weeks before they'll be ready. Hm. At least it'll be on the insurance. The would-be burglars also kicked in the back gate, so that has to be replaced as well. Again, the gate was pretty much beyond life, so needed replacing anyways, so it's okay, but annoying cos until it's fixed, we can't secure the property.

But we had a wonderful holiday in Denmark.

It's nice to be back, tho.

Though of course, due to the surprising matter of a job offer for my long suffering husband, we shall soon return to Denmark. Strange.

Stuff to do, but I shall be back. Want to get some Christmas photos uploaded.
