It goes beyond anything I am able to comprehend. I can't even speculate on how they must have felt. Yet, I look at my little boy and my little girl, and I cannot stop thinking about those little ones. It's a true testament to human ability that they survived all those years. How they will ever function in the real world... well, I guess we'll have to see.


We're getting steps for the patio door tomorrow, so we can get to the garden from the living room. The weather forecast promises dry and sun the next 5 days, so I look even more forward to the steps. We've been asking for them for quite some time by now as well, but our carpenter is such a busy, busy man.

It's late and I'd better go to bed.
